Live chat for small business · Main developer
Page Parrot
A chat widget any business can drop onto its website, integrated with the Slack and Discord platforms. Visitors chat on the site, and the team replies from the tools they already have open. I was the main developer, and I wrote it by hand with no AI assistance: the widget, the dashboard, the Slack and Discord bridge, the API and billing.

01
Starts the conversation
The widget sits on the business's own site. It can pop up with a nudge after a visitor has been browsing for a while, and it opens to a welcome message with quick replies for the questions people ask most.
02
Integrated with Slack and Discord
Page Parrot plugs into both platforms, so nobody on the team has to watch another inbox. Each conversation becomes a thread in Slack or Discord, whichever the team uses, and a reply there shows up in the visitor's chat in real time.
03
No lead left behind
If nobody answers right away, the widget asks for an email so the business can follow up, and visitors can always leave a message through the contact form.
04
A dashboard owners run themselves
Owners set up their chat without help: pick colors and an icon with a live preview, connect channels, and switch add-ons on and off, with the price updating as they go.
05
Add-ons and channels
Paid add-ons bill through Stripe. Adding a Slack channel to a workspace takes a few clicks.
06
Its own support runs on it
The dashboard's own support chat is the Page Parrot widget.
